Request for Contribution of Digital Forms of Old and Rare Village Photographs and Documents

Dear Fellow Tatta Mangalam Community Members,

We are writing to you today as a member of our beloved village community with a humble request that aims at preserving the rich history and heritage of our village for the future generations.

Our village has a long and storied past, filled with unique traditions, memorable events, and valuable historical documents. Many of these precious memories are captured in photographs, notices, and public documents that are currently in the possession of various families and individuals in our community. Unfortunately, as time passes, these invaluable items are at risk of deterioration, loss, or damage.

In light of this, we are initiating a community project to collect, digitize, and preserve these significant pieces of our history. The objective is to create a digital archive that is easily accessible to all community members and future generations. This archive will serve as a testament to our shared history, fostering a sense of belonging and pride among all of us.

We kindly request your valuable contribution to this initiative by sharing any old and rare photographs, notices, and public documents connected with our village that you may have in your possession. Your contribution will be instrumental in making this project a success and ensuring that our collective heritage is preserved and celebrated for years to come.

Here’s how you can contribute:

Scan or Photograph:

Scan old photographs, notices, and documents using a scanner or take clear, high-resolution photographs of them. Ensure that the images are clear and legible.

Digital Submission:

Email the digital copies to admin@tattamangalam.com or upload them to our designated online cloud storage here: Submit Now 

Include a brief description of each item, including any known dates, events, or people associated with them.

Physical Submission (Optional):

If you are unable to digitize the items, you may submit the physical copies to us directly ( call or Whatsapp @ : 9946556202 for more).

Our team will scan them for you and return the originals promptly.

Please rest assured that all contributions will be handled with the utmost care and respect. The digital archive will be used exclusively for educational and cultural purposes, with full credits given to the contributing families and individuals.
